Fuse Wire for Electrical Wholesalers

Catering to the electrical wholesale market, Knight Precision Wire is committed to offering the highest-quality materials, including bare copper and tinned copper, and a comprehensive range of insulation options to meet your needs. We maintain strict quality control throughout our manufacturing process. Our focus on quality and customer satisfaction is backed by our extensive list of accreditations, including ISO 9001, ensuring consistent, reliable protection from products you can count on.

Fuse Wire for Electrical Wholesalers

From our Rowan Cable Products range, we supply high-quality fuse wire to electrical wholesalers.  Fuse wire is a type of safety wire used in rewirable fuses to protect electrical appliances. It connects to a series of live wires, and if a current surge caused by a malfunction in the electrical connections occurs, the wire melts and breaks the electric circuit.

Our tinned copper fuse wire is manufactured using Cu-ETP / CW004A / C11000 / C101 grade copper, providing excellent conductivity and reliable performance. Each product is carefully manufactured to precise diameter specifications to ensure consistent amperage ratings.

Our Technical Benefits

Understanding fuse characteristics helps in selecting the right product:

Breaking Capacity
The breaking capacity of a fuse is its ability to safely interrupt fault currents. Our precise diameter control ensures consistent performance under fault conditions.

Time/Current Characteristics
Fuse response time is critical for protecting equipment. Our manufacturing process ensures consistent material properties for reliable protection:

  • Fast-acting for sensitive electronic equipment
  • Standard-blow for general purpose applications
  • Time-delay characteristics for motor circuits and equipment with startup surges

Stock
Stock levels of our standard range of fuse wire can accommodate most wholesale needs. With significant raw material stockholding and multiple manufacturing facilities, we can offer flexible production scheduling to fulfil larger volume orders and urgent requirements.

  • Products available from stock are typically delivered  3 – 5 working days from order receipt.

Packaging
Our standard protective packaging prevents damage during transit, storage, and handling. We offer customisable packaging configurations, including box and pallet quantities, upon request.

Custom Solutions

Due to the extensive wire processing capability at our Knight Precision Wire production site, we can offer a wide range of custom solutions to meet your needs.

In addition to our standard fuse wire range, we provide a comprehensive set of customisation options, ensuring we meet the specific needs of any application or wholesale requirements, including:

  • labelling solutions, including no labelling, plain Labelling, and customer-supplied labelling
  • customisable packaging configurations, including box/pallet quantities
  • smaller or larger diameter fuse wire
  • >100g reel sizes
