KPW has expertise in rolling square and shaped wires in a range of profiles – using materials as diverse as mild steel, stainless steel and brass. The equipment includes a range of turkshead units, draw plates and stainless steel rolls precision ground to give the wire its precise profile.
The most common profile is a square wire, but we also produce half-round, hexagonal wire and elliptical cross-section wire.
Square wire can be produced up to 4.00mm square in stainless steel, and larger sections for non-ferrous materials. Half round wire is produced up to 5.00mm.
