With advanced processing equipment and extensive experience in precision metals, we deliver machine-ready strip products in nickel alloys, stainless steel, copper alloys, and specialist metals — ready for further manufacturing. We understand that custom coil lengths and sheets are more than just a convenient processing step — they are a crucial element in your supply chain, increasing operational efficiency and product quality.
What is Cut-to-Length Processing?
Cut-to-length (CTL) processing involves uncoiling precision metal strip and cutting it into flat sheets of specific lengths. This process is ideal for customers who require discrete blanks or sheets for stamping, forming, or laser cutting applications.
Why use cut-to-length services?
The Knight Group knows that manufacturers are under constant pressure to get their products processed faster and cheaper and stay ahead of their competitors. Space is also at a premium, and many manufacturers do not have onsite facilities to store large quantities of material for processing to ensure minimal machine downtime.
By offering our customers material cut and packaged to their exact specifications, we help hundreds of our customers to achieve leaner manufacturing processes to maintain a sustainable and successful business. We have 8 cut-to-length lines operated by a skilled and experienced team, so you can rely on your material to be cut quickly and with great accuracy. We offer highly competitive rates to make cut-to-length an attractive cost and time-saving decision. All material is quality checked and then carefully packed in bespoke packaging. Your material will then be available for collection from our Saltley site, or you can choose a delivery to suit your business needs, with your material arriving machine-ready.
