Precipitation hardening alloys with similar beryllium content. Exhibits remarkable strength, elasticity and fatigue resistance. Usually formed and then heat treated but can also be formed in the aged condition. SPRINGS, CONTACTS, DIAPHRAGMS, BELLOWS, CONNECTORS
Alloy 174 Alloy 174 is a lower beryllium content alloy which is available in the mill hardened condition. It offers superior performance over bronzes and brasses, particularly where conductivity and relaxation are design priorities.
