There is an extensive range of cold rolled copper alloys used for metal strip.
Copper is most commonly combined with zinc to produce brass strip. Copper is also the major constituent in phosphor bronze, nickel silver, copper-nickel alloys, aluminium bronze, and other more specialist alloys e.g. beryllium copper and copper manganese alloys.
The range of properties and colours is increased with the combinations of temper rolling and heat treatments.
